If you’re building a consumer business you will need either Instagram or TikTok. Facts.
For creators, this is often their entire business.
But what are the differences between Instagram and Tiktok? And how should you use them?
Here is my high-level summary of the differences:
TikTok has become the new YouTube ‘Broadcast Yourself’
Instagram is the new Facebook and better for creators that sell a product or service
TikTok is better for brand deals; Instagram is better for marketing for products and services
Instagram is better for building a trusted community, 1-1 friendships and business connections
TikTok is earlier on trends and therefore more cutting edge for understanding pop culture and social phenomena
